im having some probs right now with this site.
its difficult to explain but just under where it says sponsored by wwr theres a yellow/orange bar across the screen with topics to click on.
but my problem is i can see just a small fraction of the top of the writing for each topic and i have no clue whats there.

before this new look setup i still had a similar problem but it was the lap timing and standings colums and i was just able to click on the tiny part of the writing showing.

    its cooking my sweed!! lol
    whats up???

    Steve,

Not sure if this helps but i have the same problem where the banners overlap. If i zoom out on the home page i can see everything and it is all correctly spaced. I use a Mac and have the option to zoom in or out when viewing web pages or documents. Been a while since i've used a PC but i would imagine you have that option somewhere too?

    Regards,

    Nigel

Sounds like it could be a browser incompatibility - I've tried it with Firefox 3.6, Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome and they all work fine.

EDIT: I've checked it with several browsers using this site: http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/index.php
and it seems that its Internet Explorer 6 that's not working correctly, IE7 and IE8 are OK.

EDIT 2: Had a quick look at the code, I think it may be because the header images are in PNG format - IE6 has big problems displaying PNG files, so may need to change this to a JPG file instead see if it works OK then.

    hi mark.

i noticed in another thread you posted a pic of the screen and highlighted the standings and lap times but for me theres no way i can click on them as they dont exist on my screen.
from looking at your pic i can see that im seeing just the top part of profile etc.
if i cant sort it il never be able to see the standings. lol
also what you posted above sadly goes straight over my head. im pc illiterate.

Hi cosworth, here's a direct link to the results and standings page:

    http://www.highoctaneracingclub.com/Results-and-Standings-h4.htm

Looks like the current forum theme isn't working with older browsers like Internet Explorer 6, which I presume is what you have. I highly recommended using Firefox instead from www.getfirefox.com - fast, secure and works great!

(Sorry my techno-babble was for Mr Champion to have a look at when he can!)

    Cheers

    Mark
