Basically just to see if members want damage on or not. Most of the people i speak to said yes.
This means you actually get stopped in the pits and it is more realistic!

Please post your answer below so we knows who picked what.

no for me - simply cos if someone runs up your rear and damages the aero it can't be fixed in the pits and ruins your race.

yes, after past few days racing with it on, it takes quite a big shunt to damage a leon

That was me the other night Mark (lol), but in my defense someone knocked me into you and damaged my aero too.

The thing was you still nailed some great times in the damaged car so maybe it would even things out a little?

And give everyone a 10 second breather in the pits! Health and safety would love me!!

Nah I'm happy to race with damage on or off, it's the same for everyone, I just gotta be a bit more cautious Wink Like you say, it could turn up some interesting results too

Very noble mate - i understand that it would give the faster guys the edge but i do feel it would balance out over the series

    Hi guys,
I think its too late in the day to be changing the rules, so for this first series, damage will be off as stated in the rules.
Magic turbo is correct with the aero issue. As the cars are so evenly matched, contact will no doubt be inevitable and as the race will be a fair duration, no one wants to drive a half mangled car for 30 mins.

I think thats sensible to be honest, if the aero could be fixed I'd be all for it cos it adds to the realism - but I was losing over a second a lap at Laguna without any rear aero which in these cars is a lifetime!

I don't mind either way, but be careful of the lag. My race was over on lap 2 because a car lagged back and I hit it in the rear and then it jumped back up 2 positions where it originally was, and I lost 2 seconds, which is almost impossible to make up. With damage on, my car would have been totaled. I believe Champion had the same thing happen to him in my lobby as well.
Like I said above I do not mind either way but be prepared for some moaning from others when people get damage due to lag.

    damage off.

i probably wouldnt race in a series with it off.

it may be fine for the fast boys who have total controll of their cars and the others in their lobbys of similar skill are likewise.
but for the less talented then outbraking themselves is the norm and they smack into the back of you or maybe i'l do it to someone which would be race over every single wk guaranteed. not good cricket! lol
